Don't sweat it

Relax on the day of the exam. The great thing about the SATs is that you can have more than one chance at it (like the first grade). Plus, sweating makes ink run. *wink* *wink*

Contrary to popular belief, sleeping on top of a book does not count as studying by "osmosis."

However, sleeping with a book open on your face has yet to be proven as invalid.

Take small bites

Staring at a computer screen or textbook for long periods of time can cause drowsiness, eyestrain and/or boredom. It's always best to study in smaller sessions over a longer period of time...or, when you inevitably cram for eight hours straight, you could take a short break every hour.

Don’t study the night before the test—you won’t remember it, and you will become stressed. Instead, pack a bag to take to the test and get a good night’s sleep.

Have Confidence

Your confidence level is a good measure of your own strengths and weaknesses. Learn to use this fact to your advantage. The SAT rewards you when correct, penalizes you when incorrect, but doesn’t penalize you for skipping those problems that you aren’t confident in answering.
